About this club
The MHS Contemporary A Cappella Program is made up of two auditioned ensembles (NOTEORIOUS & SIREN), which meet after school and/or during evening hours. Students selected for this ensemble will have demonstrated proper vocal technique, sight singing, and ear training skills and appropriate rehearsal/performance discipline. Repertoire studied will be of varying difficulty levels in the pop/jazz style. Students selected must be available for mandatory rehearsals beginning in early August and must also be available for after school and evening rehearsals, public performances, and competitions throughout the year. Students can earn 0.5 performing arts credit for this ensemble. Grade Level: 9-12 Prerequisites: Audition, Must be enrolled in a curricular MHS choir, band, or orchestra and have Choral Director recommendation.
